After the adventurous night in Barcelona, I decided to fly back to Germany to get some things done that I had planned for a few months...
Today I taught the last dance class before summer break. Unfortunately I got sick the last night in Barcelona and my condition wasnt the best but a soldier never gives up, right? So I created a new piece a few minutes before the class started and the students loved it!
When I do choreographies, I only chose songs that make me feel some type of way. It should have a special sound, amazing beats or a deep lyrics. I am very picky when it comes to music and today was my mood a bit chilled because of my sickness. @sirwinchester always hears the best music perfectly matching to my taste. Spotify is a great platform for dancers because they offer nearly every song with high quality and original sound. ( I dont want to make advertisements here, but this App or service is amazing ) Anyway, I follow SirWinchester on Spotify and I always get notifications what he heard a few hours ago when I log into my account. I went on his profile to check his new playlist and to be honest - I love the new songs he picked out! One of them was a song called Haunted by Stwo. I never heard of this artist before but I can tell you, she´s incredible !
I always teach the students to create their own dance style! Its okay to forget some steps in a choreography but its most important to be unique! If I put on the music, I want everybody in the room to feel free and start dancing even if the choreography havent started yet.
The best way to end a choreography is to do a freestyle after it. Never stop like a robot if the given steps have been concluded. Try to find a nice ending matching to the rhythm of the song.
I was really sick today but it didnt stop me from teaching people who love to dance! I wish I had more energy to dance this choreography full out and show true emotions because this song is fire 🔥

To dance helps me to forget the present. Even the worst situations will pass away and this is what gives me motivation to keep on dancing. Its my true passion even if its not my job anymore. It was fun dancing for music stars but my life is so much better after I quit the dancing job and only used my dancing skills for fun. You´re right, I recorded it with a 4k quality but the quality went down by importing it to imovie :/
I see. I think it happened so because of the sunlight. So, if you do the recording in a room where there is no sunlight coming, you will see far better results and lot more upvotes. ;)

My friends always tease me because i dance eith my eyes closed. Hehe 😊
But the reality is... dance is a way of connecting to your soul and i find that closing my eyes... places me right where i want to be.
It takes me away from all the surrounding chaos!
This is nice ! I tried it out a few times but for other reasons. I wanted to understand the moves and be able to dance without thinking about it. I believe dancing with your eyes closed is an amazing feeling, I will try it out and be free without any given steps !

Absolutely! I love it! I take contemporary and hip hop class weekly. I am terrible at it, but is so much fun. I usually do acroyoga with @acromott, but I have to take a rest for a while... just broke my collarbone this weekend. But when it's all healed... I'll be right back and going to dance class! ☺️

Very nice - I spent literally 3 hours today working on one dance move, no joke..I'm not a pro like you but sometimes if I'm in the mood it feels amazing just to get in the zone and let the world slip away.

ah wie geil! Heute war ich in der Mönckebergstraße vor einem Laden, weil ich mich selbst im Laden Fenster zuschauen beim tanzen könnte. Ich habe währendessen keine Musik gespielt, weil ich wollte nicht dass Leute meinten ich mache so ein show (hab nur für mich selbst geübt) aber immerhin kamen Sie um mich anzuschauen, naja I suppose I don't really mind the attention...
