CRÓNICAS DE UNA ADOLESCENCIA EN VENEZUELA.
EPISODIO 2: VIVE LA VIDA LOCA
La vida pasa por ti,
o tú pasas por la vida.
Hubo un tiempo en que viví mi vida.
Aquel tiempo sin aflicciones ni penas,
sin nada que me doliera.
Hubo un tiempo en que simplemente pasé por la vida,
pasé de vivir
viví sin vivir realmente.
Entonces la vida pasó de mi,
pasó a mi lado,
y justo frente a mi.
Tres cortas historias, de las interminables crónicas sobre mi adolescencia en Venezuela.
Cuando mi vida yo vivía, no sería más que una niña, con la cabeza llena de sueños y las muelas recién salidas.
Recuerdo entonces que viajamos, a una isla del caribe, con el nombre de una flor de jardín, y la belleza de un Edén contemporáneo.
Me contaba mi mamá, que la isla de las flores, no es lo que era cuando ella era joven, y vivía su vida sin que la vida la viviese a ella.
Pero a mi entonces no me importó esa historia, porque era la primera vez que veía parques de agua, playas por las ventanas, y carruseles de mil colores.
Pero entonces comencé a pasar de la vida. Pasar de vivir. Vivir sin hacerlo realmente.
Entonces yo tendría doce, cuando una bomba de tiempo nació y creció en los cimientos del que llamaba hogar -y que ahora solo es mi casa.
El hambre y el alcohol crean guerras. Crean angustias. Crea dolor. Y mi mundo se desmoronó, y con lo que quedó, lo re-hice a duras penas.
Lo que construí a duras penas, una revolución se lo robó.
Viví soñando con paz. Viví sin saber porqué seguir. Y preguntándome cuánto más tiempo la vida habría de pisarme así.
Entonces la vida pasó de mi. Pasó frente a mis ojos. Pasó junto a mi. Pero jamás a mis espaldas, porque no puedo ver lo que ocurre allí.
Estuve sentada esperando, una oportunidad de vivir. De vivir como cuando niña, cuando la vida no me vivía a mi.
Un día me cansé de esperar que la vida llegara a mi. Me cansé de las migajas, y de todo el desvivir. Y pensé en vivir aventuras, o que las aventuras me vivan a mi.
A veces vivo aventuras, a veces las aventuras pasan de mi. A veces recorro la ciudad a pie, y otras la ciudad me pisa a mi.
En este tira y encoge, yo me acordé de qué es vivir. Mientras vives la vida, pasas de ella o te pisen a ti.
La vida es lo que pasa por la ventana, lo que cantan por allí. La vida es un pajarito, que salta y salta por tu jardín. La vida son las aventuras -las que vives, y las que te viven a ti. La vida son las bombas de tiempo que estallan, y cómo reconstruyes lo que queda de allí.
La vida es lo que roban aquellos que con desgracia se han de nutrir.
Ya sea que pases de la vida, o que la vida pase de ti, asegúrate de preguntarte si lo que haces es de buen vivir.
Y para que al final de la vía, no mires atrás con ira, uno aprende a vivir su vida, para que nadie la viva por ti.
