What a week of Easter we are having, my father-in-law has passed away in our house three days ago and, although his illness alerted us to this, we are never sufficiently prepared for these things... much less in times of pandemic.
After two days of panic, stress, funeral and burial, today we have allowed ourselves the luxury of eating outdoors, enjoying a mild temperature under a spring sun, remembering the moments we lived with him during the time he was living in our house, suffering from a disease that has finally taken him away...
Really complicated times although at least it has served to reunite the whole family.
Now is time to get up, compose ourselves and continue forward stronger than ever, enjoying every second of this gift that is the life.
