New Hardware: RockPro-64 from Pine64
I recently ordered the RockPro-64 single-board computer from Pine64, and it has arrived. Also got their clear acrylic open case sporting the Pine64 logo, A fan/heatsink combo, and basically a laptop charger power supply.
I also recently bought a complete kit for the Raspberry-Pi 4. The RockPro is considerably larger, more powerful, and has a lot more connectivity/features.
Not to mention it can run Android. I've yet to assemble/boot either of them but I definitely will be doing a video or multiple videos about both.
Specs:
- CPU: Rockchip RK3399 Hexa-Core 2 ARM-Cortex A72's & 4 Cortex A53's
- GPU: MALI T-860 Quad-Core GPU
- RAM: 4GB LPDDR4
There's a lot of operating systems and pre-built appliance images for this board. I don't know where to even start.
Considering the following:
- Android
- Chromium OS
- NetBSD & OpenBSD
- Many other Linux distros
- Nagios Enterprise Monitoring Server
