Finding Work Balance in 2020: COVID-19 Helps Remind Executives Of What's Important To Them

One thing you often hear from successful individuals who spent a great deal of their time at work, is that they wish they could've spent more time with their family.

Their success at work often had to come at the expense of time with those who are closest to them. And in 2020 that's changed for some with the pandemic highlighting what's most important in our lives when everything else around us becomes uncertain.

This year it's estimated that 8 out of 10 corporate executives have experienced poor mental health because of COVID-19

That has caused some to go looking for a new balance in life, looking to spend more time with their families once again.

One recent survey discovered that it was especially corporate execs from Egypt and France who were most likely to have readjusted their priorities this year and sought to get more time in with family.

Thankfully there is a great deal of technology available today that helps them to do that.

The survey which recently determined that more execs are seeking a family balance in their lives with work, had asked approx 2k high net-worth individuals their feelings on COVID-19 and its impact on their mental health and priorities etc.

The productivity that some have been experiencing while working from home has worked out so well for them that they can't help but want to continue with what's bringing them more benefit and saved time. That's what some companies are now looking to do, make those permanent changes.

For some of them they have seen such success that they are looking to maintain some of that even if things open back up. They've learned over the last few months how to be more efficient at doing that work at home and why not continue it if it means more balance for them and time with loved ones.
