Hi everyone! I haven't posted about Market Friday initiated by @dswigle for quite a while, and today I'm showing you "The Amazing Mill Markets" (nice name eh? ;)) in Australia. It's located in Daylesford, a town at a foothill in Victoria. It's a stop on our road trip from the south back to Queensland.
At this big market you will find a wide selection of antiques, memorabilia, vintage furniture and clothing, home decor, books, records, artworks and much more. I saw tons of interesting objects here, and I guess there's a unique story behind each of them.
It opens 10am to 6pm, everyday of the year except Christmas day. And there are also Amazing Mill Markets at Ballarat and Geelong.
今天是星期五，想起来好久没参加“周五市场”的主题活动了。这次就带大家去澳大利亚看看一家大型古物集市。
这地方叫“米尔集市”，位于墨尔本以西约110公里的度假小镇戴尔斯福特。门口的标志就是用旧物做成的，挺有特色。大门上方写着：欢迎来到“很棒的米尔集市”，哈哈，我看到后忍不住笑了，进去后发现确实还不错。
整个场地面积非常大，还有露天的庭院。各个区域分别摆放、悬挂着不同类别的旧货、古物，其中邮票、书籍、杂志、玩具、瓷器、家具、古着、艺术品等琳琅满目，应有尽有。除了颇具澳洲本土特色的东西和很多英国人留下来的物品，还有来自中国的瓷器和关于中国的书籍、音像制品。
我在这里流连了几十分钟，看到很多有意思的小玩意儿，想象着他们承载着的独特故事。集市里大都是上了年纪的顾客，估计这里的很多商品能勾起他们对往昔的回忆吧。
这里全年除了圣诞节外每天都营业，在西方还不多见，很多欧洲的古物集市每周只摆设有限的一天或几天。此外，在Geelong和Ballarat也有这家米尔集市。
