"Pasar Tobong", Candiwulan Village, Kutasari District is in Indonesia, for the readers that may not know. I actually googled it. :))
I can see that the number of people is severely down as people are only picking up the needful, leaving the rest behind. At this time, there are few jobs, little money and so as a population, many people are being extra frugal.
I am happy to see the trading doing well, my corn for your yams... What a great bargain! I had too many to eat. I have always been in favor of it. I hope the people's economy continues to move up, however slow it seems. An upward climb will take a bit of time, but, we can do this!
I am so happy to see everyone wearing masks. How are your COVID numbers there? Ours go up and down, depending on how much of the town is open. Also, the Universities opening back up and no social distancing has caused some of them to shut their doors. It was very uplifting to read your positive attitude!
I want to truly thank you for taking part in the #MarketFriday challenge! The entire challenge has migrated from a stroll through a market to a cultural extravaganza. ! It really surprised me, but, also delights me to know how much effort people put into it. It pointed out our differences in the beginning, but, then, it really started showing how many things our cultures share.
