#274 - We are now starting to experience the monsoon season here in the Philippines. It is raining now almost everyday, the rain mostly comes in the afternoon or in the evening so far. This is good because crops have been waiting for the rain for a long time, even people who wished to have a cooler evening so they can sleep better are happy about the rains coming.
And with the rain as a topic, I think this is a good opportunity to share my monochrome street shots taken while the rain was pouring. The shots were taken in the City of pines, Baguio.
Here is the first shot where a middle aged man walks on the road while a small amount of rain pours from above. The weather was cold too so a jacket or windbreaker is needed if you are not used to cold temperature like I do.😁
Here is a shot in the market area where there is a lot of people presence even if it is raining or not. Most of them are in their umbrellas while some just prefer to be in their jackets and some in raincoats. This area is always busy because it is one of the fastest access road to the market's dry goods area.
A delivery 🚚 truck is about to unload their goods but because it was raining, they have to wait for it to stop because the carton boxes could be wet. So the man in the back of the truck is just standing there and wait.
A woman is begging alms to another woman in front of mini store. There are also other people on the left who seems like students and having a conversation. A delivery man pushing his cart with boxes is also in the street. The rain has subsided and only a few drops so it is fine to move those boxes without getting wet.
