Areca nut is known as one of the agricultural commodities in the province of Aceh, a plant that is known from the family Arecaceae in the order Arecales. This plant becomes the economic support for the people in the rural area of Aceh, every day the community uses betel nuts to be sold after peeling.
The price of areca nuts in Aceh is relatively good, even though at the time of the pandemic there was a slight decrease in prices because this export commodity was constrained by shipments to consumer countries.
