When You Are Driven By Your Dreams

in #motivational3 years ago (edited)

There is a general assertion that your dreams will drive you if they are big enough. Well, to a considerably fair extent, the statement is true because the bigger your dreams, the more potential it has to spur you into actions. However, it is worthy to note that the size of the dreams notwithstanding, they lack the ability to be fulfilled on their own - this means that you have to put in the required work yourself.

It is when your actions meet your dreams that results are delivered. It is one thing that be able to dream big but it is a whole thing entirely to be able to put the dream to work. Everyone may have varying dreams but why it seems like not everyone has hit their target is because they have not worked it out. Obviously, your targets can only be hit when you take steps to fire the shots - that is the actions.

You do not necessarily need to wait to start pursuing after your dreams from the top. When you wait to start big, delays may set in and you may develop a cold feet in the long run. Instead of waiting for the supposed "right time" to start big, start from your level (from where you are) and with the resources at your disposal and then grow.

When building your dream, do not overlook the basics. You may start small - because that may be your level at the moment, but keep working towards your growth.

Always know that dreams, most times, remain valid for certain times, after which they may lose their potency. This should spur you to timely action, knowing that a delay in the dream may lead to obsoletion of the dream. The truth you should know is that, in more cases than none, when an action is delayed or when it is taken outside its own time, it can almost always been looked at as inaction.

Mind-blowing inventions normally start as dreams and when meditation is added to the dreams and then actions, the dreams will see the light of the day. It is worthy to note that dreams are not gifted, you have the absolute prerogative to fashion out your own dream. Believe me, no matter how someone loves you, there are things that they will not undertake for you - they cannot dream for you.

To live without a dream is like navigating through an unknown terrain without a compass. It is your dreams, that is explicitly outlined, that will help you know if you are on course or not. When pursuing after your dream, you have to understand that what makes the difference is the approach you put into it. As much as you are responsible for your dreams, you are also responsible for the approach to follow to achieve it. If a particular approach does not seem to fit into the dream, what you should do is to look for another approach and not to change the entire dream to fit into the approach.
