The available content is a big factor. Netflix have a good variety and we have the premium plan as we can often be streaming to 3 screens. We also have Disney, but may run out of things to watch there soon. We are having a free month of Amazon Prime and will watch a few things on that too. I think it is possible to pay for a single month of at least some of them, so you could alternate.
