Children’s Musical Training (Day 2)
Hi Steemains, I’m so happy to achieve the aim of today’s training. It was fun today. Today, the training was base on the children’s area of interest. The areas of training available are bass guitar, keyboard and drum.
Under the drum section, the children were introduced to drums, parts of drum, roles of drums, tempo and hand work.
Under the guitar section, they were introduced to the bass guitar (meaning), fingering (names and roles of the different fingers), parts of the guitar, roles of bass in music, introduction to musical keys and how to play the diatonic scale using key C on the bass guitar.
Bass Guitar
This is a string musical instrument that produces deep tone in music, use in distinguishing chords of other instruments like piano by playing a single note.
On the keyboard section today, they were introduced to piano, keys on the piano, part of the piano and how to locate an octave in the piano.
The training was done by three tutors. Fortune Bassey (keyboard tutor), Lawrence Nyong(drums tutor) and myself Anietie Paulinus (bass tutor).
I wish to appreciate my devoted friends who always dedicate their time in training these kids for the betterment of our society. Of a truth, we can bring remedies to societal crimes.
