Hi, Hive comunity, today I wanted to tell you about two really strange bands: Caninus and Hatebeak.
πŸ…²πŸ…°πŸ…½πŸ…ΈπŸ…½πŸ†„πŸ†‚ formed in Brooklyn in 1992 thanks to Justin Brannan.
The band had the distinction of having enlisted as singers ... two pitbulls (Budgie and Basil). Also part of the group were guitarist Rachel Rosen and drummer Colin Thundercurry. Brannan.
In 2004 they released their first album, "Now The Animals Have a Voice", for War Torn Records. The band played Grindcore.
The first pittbull Basil died in 2011, while Budgie died in 2016.

πŸ…·πŸ…°πŸ†ƒπŸ…΄πŸ…±πŸ…΄πŸ…°πŸ…Ί were trained by Blake Harrison, Mark Sloan and Waldo, an African parrot. The members of the band have never used their surnames in the albums released to maintain an "aura of mystery". They were signed by the Reptilian Records label.
Besides some splits, the only studio album was "The Number of the Beak (TBA)".
