Here's a little live Jam from my last visit to Dubai while I was doing some live freestyles killing time waiting until my flight back to KL.

The Art of Turntablism
Turntablism is the art of manipulating sounds and creating new music, sound effects, mixes, and other creative sounds and beats, typically by using two or more turntables and a cross fader-equipped DJ mixer.

Also, Scratching, sometimes referred to as scrubbing, is a DJ and turntablist technique of moving a vinyl record back and forth on a turntable to produce percussive or rhythmic sounds. A crossfader on a DJ mixer may be used to fade between two records simultaneously.

Scratching was invented by Grand Wizzard Theodore and by mistake which led to a whole Turntablist culture afterwards, Theodore Livingston (born March 5, 1963), better known as Grand Wizzard Theodore, is an American hip hop DJ. He is widely credited as the inventor of the scratching technique.

Do you know about Scratching? Do you scratch or love the artform? Let me know what you think in the comment box below! Salute!
