Here's a cool tune from 1968. Supposedly by some school dudes, and they sound annoyed and generally far out!
The song starts with a bass line, then goes into a cool 4 chord progression that sounds familiar and yet unique at the same time. I'm not sure if I've heard it before or not. It's similar to the chords in Open That Door by The Ramones, which came out less than a decade later.
There are 2 breaks that do nothing for me. The rhythm guitar plays the same chord throughout.
But I dig the rest of the tune! The drums provide a dance beat. The fuzzy lead guitar sounds psychedelic. The singing is young, loud and snotty - to borrow from a Dead Boys album title!
