my bicycle decided to have a hub breakdown yesterday... ensuring i had a long walk home from the ocean. the price of a new wheel is 53% of the price i paid for the entire bike ...

so today i decided to head down to the 'cultural' part of the town near the harbor and see if i could find a second hand bicycle shop to try secure a second hand wheel.

i ended up in some interesting places... no success on the bike front .. but plenty exercise and some great art ...

i came across a long wall in a very run down part of the town covered in graffiti ... i cannot resist taking pics... so now you need to enjoy them with me. i have saved the best one for last...

I DID enjoy the music mister without a working bicycle trying to get a selfie in an art wall which turned out to be more a blur to me than anything else! :) Golden Earring, Dutchies. Rock, yes, but a song I listen to quite often back in the days. Doors, Queen... Also on my radar back in the days, mucho on my radar. You see? More music we have in common ;)
You seem to like the more 'aggressive' artistic impressions when going through the subs to the art pics. Thinking not so out loud but in writing {does this tell something about this guy, from our southern hemisphere, stuck in this country with a strange singing language, looking for wheels?}
Spray can: Regardless the colour, it seems to be full of Juice... At least that is what it tries to tell us in words ;)

Unfortunate about the bike 😬 hope you have better luck finding bike stuff the next time you look. Meanwhile the street art was a nice find, hope that made up for the lack of bike stuff at that point.
it was indeed a fine find. there are some decent murals i know of which i have not yet been able to get to to photograph
