HI friends,
This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @thesocalhive where we share an aspect of our California.
The greater Los Angeles area covers many square miles and is very spread out. Public transportation is not nearly as good in LA as in many other major cities.
That being said, there is train (above ground) and bus system that can be used, though not as smoothly and efficiently as other places.
The main train station in downtown Los Angeles is Union Station - my family and I took the train into downtown recently… check it out:
This is a beautiful train station and is a historic landmark. I was surprised at how much was going on when we used it - it had quite the hustle and bustle of activity!
Thanks for coming by and checking out a piece of my California.
Brian
Oh yeah awesome! I haven't been there since the 90s.such an awesome building, imagine the people that have filed through that building over the years.
Wow, I didn't expect the interior just from looking at the outside. I really like the ceiling design that makes it look very classy.
This building must have really been quite ancients and sustained for so long
What’s the side effect of public transportation over there?
It is good to use train when out of the city you live in.
Union Station's history and architecture are really amazing. I really like hearing about your experience there. Great shots too brother
The place looks really big
After a few days everything will be closed in our city for two days
Sorry to hear that! Where do you live?
Pakistan
the trees are so tall
This is a very beautiful railway station and there are many unique things here which make it special.
