#271 - Flowers and colorful cabbages roses.
A wonderful day ahead everyone. Another day has passed and the world is slowly going back to normal especially those countries who have completed their vaccination programs.
Today's features are about plants and this time more particular on cabbages. These ones are white cabbage roses which are also consumed but this farm sells them as flowers which is being bought by different flower shops in the country. This cabbage is edible and some even claims that it has laxative properties which help those having problems with their indigestions.
There is a vast area of the farm wherein only cabbage roses are planted. These cabbages varries in colors. Later on there are those which are purple as well. This is what it looks like for the white cabbage rose. There is no fruit to be found but just fresh leaves in the middle.
Here is a fully blown white cabbage rose. With all its leaves spread wide open in all directions.
Now these ones are what I mentioned earlier, the purple cabbage roses. The view here is much better than the white roses because I believe the contrast of the purple color is much more lively which is my opinion.😊
These ones are also purple cabbage but they are not roses type, just the plain cabbage I am used too but the only difference is that the fruit is purple. As we can see, it is still in the stage of becoming mature so I cannot find that circular purple fruit yet. A few more days to wait according to one of the caretakers.
Lastly are these pinkish flowers growing in abundance in one part of the farm. My wife wanted to have a photo so here it is. Those are the houses of the locals sticking out from one part of the mountain. That will be it for today and see you again tomorrow for another round of street photography in colors.😊
