#458 - Flies and bees.

Another wonderful evening my fellow Hiveans. Just wanted to share these macro shots I took before when we went to the city of pines. During our stay there, we visited some of the landmarks and one of those is the mansion and in front of it is a long mini lake facing the president residence. At the end of the water front there are plenty of flowering plants and there is where I took the photos of flies. This fly was on the top of this yellow flower and it is busy collecting nectars which it could find sweet that is the reason why it is there.

We got another fly here and this time it is on another flower and the flower has already started to lose its petals already due to time. It is still producing nectars so flies and bees will keep coming visiting this lovely flower.

The next two shots will show bees and this one is down at the lower level of the plant where there is flower and it is busy collecting pollens there. I can see the hind leg has some pollen sac already building up so it has been a while for this industrious critter collecting from one flower to another.

Another bee which look up side down while it is collecting pollens.
