#516 - Siargao's Coconut tree swing.

It's a gloomy Monday here once again and perhaps due to the inclement weather brought by a storm. My mother in law has already arrived home yesterday, she came from their ancestral home in the nearby province of Pampanga. She went there because their house needed a repair and the river water is also making its way to their first level of the house. She has sister and a brother abroad and they sent her some amount to complete the renovation. It took atleast half a month to be finished but she is finally home. There are still other stuff that needs to be done to their house there she said but they will have to wait for a few more months to have some cash to finish the renovation there. So it will be up to her relatives abroad when she will be returning to their province to complete the repair.

For our daily shots, today is about travel so I will be sharing shots I took back in Siargao during an afternoon when my wife ride on a motorcycle and drive for about six kilometers of distance going to this river in an area of the island called Maasin. The place is famous as one of the destination when going here for a travel because there are coconut trees beside the river that can be use for a swing and then dive in to the river with a cold water.

When we got here there are several tourists who wanted to experience the climb and then dive to the water. There are also those who enjoy riding bamboo crafts as boat. We can see on the left a couple posing for a photo.

Then we see here three person climbing at the coconut at the same time. The one on top is a local guiding the guest who is in the middle. The third is also a local assisting with the climb. They teach and guide the guest on how go do the swing and jump afterwards to the water.

I just hope that this coconut tree still standing here up to now. It has been a while since we were here and these coconuts we all see could be a foot or more taller already.

Ang ganda!

Matagal na yan actually hehe before pa magpandemic.

I have a friend that is living in Siargao and most of her pictures really look good because of the scenery there.

It is indeed a place for keeps.

The beautiful Siargao🥰 How I wish to visit that place one day! I have also experienced a coconut tree swing but Hindi sa tubig ang bagsak , in the grass and bushes🤣

Haha that is still one kind of an experience.
