We were able to get out a bit today for a nice drive into the mountains, up to Estes Park, Colorado. Found this great T-shirt and coffee cup at one of the less busy tourist stops. Certainly has been our mantra this year, especially with having the bears about lol.
Always love the views along the way and from town. This is a little earlier than we usually go, so no Elk walking around town yet. That will usually happen later in October and early November. It's quite the sight, if you never seen one, these Elk are huge, taller than cars and herds of them just walking around town and chewing grass in the park in center of the town. People easily within 10 ft, and of course the idiots trying to get closer for selfies. I remember last year this stupid woman trying her selfie within like 5 feet of this huge 14 point male with his rack wider than you could spread your arms. The deputy literally had to help her away and stated "Ma'am, please stay back, these are wild animals and will kill you."

Thanks. I thought it was great. Even better since we actually had bears in the yard a few times this month! I think it renewed my wife's exercise routine to make sure she can run faster than me!
