Hello fellow crafters all over the world. This is my first post for #needleworkmonday and I am thrilled to share with you this easy to do it yourself tutorial of Crochet Bag in Rainbow color.
Materials:
- Rainbow colored threads: mercerized cotton
*violet
*royal blue
*emerald green
*olive green
*yellow
*golden yellow
*gold
*orange
*red - 2mm hook
- Scissor
Pattern:
Color: Violet (double pull)
1st layer - chain 85
2nd layer - sc on 12th chain, chain 7, skip 3chains then sc, repeat 18 times (u will make 19 big holes like this)
3rd layer -- Chain 5, sc on 1st big hole (making a small hole), chain 7, sc on 2nd big hole, repeat 17 times
4th, 5th & 6th layer -- repeat procedure in 3rd layer.
Then cut only 1 thread (violet) and connect the end to another thread (royal blue,) with a tie,then continue on 7th layer.Color: violet and royal blue (combine)
7th - 8th layer - repeat procedure in 4th layer, then cut the violet thread and connect the end to royal blue thread making it 2 pulls of royal blueColor: Royal blue (double pull)
9th - 13th layer - same procedureColor: Royal blue & Emerald green
14th - 15th layer
Color: Emerald green (double pull)
16th - 20th layerColor: Emerald green and Olive green
21th - 22th layerColor: Olive green (double pull)
23th - 27th layerColor: Olive green and Yellow
28th - 29th layerColor: Yellow (double pull)
30th - 34th layerColor: Yellow and Golden yellow
35th - 36th layerColor: Golden yellow (double pull)
37th - 41 th layerColor: Golden yellow and Gold
42th - 43th layerColor: Gold (double pull)
44th - 48th layerColor: Gold and Orange
49th - 50th layerColor: Orange (double pull)
51th - 55th layer56th layer - chain 5, sc on 1st hole, chain 3 dn sc on 2nd hole and repeat until end.
Orange side:
DC on this side, follow the dot, 1 dc each dot. Tie and cut.Violet side: Dc on this side, follow what you did on orange side
Top and bottom side: 1st layer
Red thread - chain 6, treble crochet on each hole ONLY with the pattern treble crochet-chain 1-treble crochet-chain 1
Top and bottom side: 2nd layer
Chain 4, treble crochet 2, chain 1, treble crochet 2, chain 1, repeat 'till end
Top and bottom side: 3rd layer
Chain 4, treble crochet skip 1 chain, treble crochet 2, skip one chain, repeat 'till end.
Top and bottom side: 4th layer
Chain 4, treble crochet on each chain until end
Top and bottom side: 5th layer
Chain 1, then sc around the 4 corners, tie and cut.
Handle: orange and violet
Chain 4,dc 3 (make 58 layers each handle)
And now you're done.☺️
