Hello everyone

Greetings to you all in this great community and I hope you are all doing great, to all the creative minds and lovers of diy in this community, it's so nice to be here today to share with you this lovely pieces of sun flowers made with pieces of fabric.

I can tell you that there is a lot you can do with piece of fabric, I have come to realize that with your creativity, you can make a lot of useful items which can be beneficial to you, given out as gift to love ones or even sell to make extra money. In just few days, I have made some fabric flower for myself for decoration and some as an applique to beautify the outfit I made, as Christmas is approaching, I will definitely need more of these fabric flower for some projects at hand and that is the reason I have decided to make different types and set aside for later use.
Today, I'm making a sunflower with pieces of fabric and I hope you will like the beautiful outcome.

Let's get started with the cutting and sewing process
From my yellow piece of left over fabrics, I measured and cut out a square shape measuring 3 x 3" in 5 places

Each piece was folded in a triangular shape just as seen below

Then it was folded in two from one end to the other

I took each piece and run a long stitch with my hand needle and thread at the bottom

The same process was repeated on all other pieces and it was gathered together and tightly secure at the end

I cut out a small circle piece, placed a button at the middle and run a long stitch on it after which it was gathered together and tightly secured

The small circle piece was placed on the center of the sun flower with the help of a gum

This is the final and beautiful outcome of the fabric sunflower I made from pieces of left over fabrics.

I hope you like the simplicity of this creative idea with fabrics, I definitely will use this for something beautiful, let me know what you can use this for in the comment box
