Late Summer Harvest Time!

in #neoxian3 years ago

Hey everyone, the weather has been rather cold of late and these are certainly not cold weather vegetables, but I gave it a bash in any case and so far....

The results were mediocre...

I planted at the end of January in the compost heap I was expecting better as I thought generally what kills summer vegetables, is frost and we have not had any of late so why are these not doing as well as expected? Turns out planting them inbetween mielies is quiet a nice idea they seem to be growing really well, far better than the mielies at that.

I planted these mielies (corn) intentionally however the carrots self planted. I purely threw old carrots on the compost heap and hey presto they came up on their own, nature is amazing!

The compost really greened up those carrots. The way you like to garden, everything gets gobs of nutrition overload. The corn looks happy in the sun. Keep it up mate.

Thanks bro will do, where you been very quiet of late? Cheer$;)
