I had this thought as I was walking after work. I haven't put that much thought into this thought, but I do think it's interesting one.
Hive can basically be a default second job for like everyone. Of course it's not a free income, but at the same time it could be. The income you can generate on Hive all really depends on the time and effort and potential investment, that you put into Hive. Just like life. You get what you work for. Have good intentions and commitment.
In an awesome world where Hive is HUGE, Hive can force companies to basically compete with the fact that everyone is on a more even playing field and can generate money from expressing themselves.
Of course businesses still will matter very much because people still want stuff and there are still people who will want to make money in various ways, of course. In a world where people can have more money, not be as broke, people will want to spend more money. In a way people who own businesses will still find ways to success, prices could raise but then again cryptocurrency can raise in price.
So yeah back to my point.
Business will still matter and be desired and needed, very much so. But I imagine there would have to be better, higher, offered pay rates and an environment where it's more of a partnership in workplaces, just a bit, rather than what sometimes feels like you're sort of owned. Slavery with some wages.
Demand of things will only rise with crypto. Companies like Wal-Mart and Amazon will still succeed just in a new way. People will still want there stuff in two days. People will have the money and desire still.
Huge companies will have to compete in a world where people can make money from and with each other peer to peer, real humans making real money. More authentically and honestly. Mega companies will be forced to check themselves.
Companies can really run the same way they always do, as long as they raise pay rates and improve circumstances and environments for employees and have something good to offer.
Information can be a double edged sword but beyond that is results and with information on the internet results can always be seen and understood at the end of the day.
The opportunities in crypto are enormous. To start, as you mentioned, this is a great way to supplement or earn an income. After that, people can focus upon wealth creation by using the crypto and investing it in projects they feel confident about.
Over the next few years, we will see the options expand as more security like tokens are generated reflecting all different kinds of projects.
