Pirate Captain: The Trickish And Stylish Monster

Hello splinterlanders, how are you doing today? I nearly forgot the weekly battle challenge until this morning i checked splinterlands blog, i was trying everything to make sure i took part in legion. Right now, We have a few days left for the preale and things are pretty going well on my side: but I couldn't buy the amount of presale I needed for a reason.
I wanted to write this article yesterday but I was busy doing other things that took my time.
I have seen pirate captain and i know this monster for a while but my problem is because my pirate captain is level one: that is the reason i don’t usually use it in battle and i have other monsters with snipping abilities that are good to use.

The Trickish And Stylish Nature Of Captain Pirate
One of the unique tasks that captain pirate do is targeting monsters that are not in the first position. Just a few days ago, I was paired with someone and this monster attacked my most powerful monster. I had planned that if the first and second monster failed, I would be able to win with the monster. I used Zalran Efreet to attack my opponent's monsters due to much armor in the battle. Unfortunately, the first monster that the pirate captain attacked was Zalran Efreet and destroyed it in just one attack. I knew there was no magic that my monsters could perform that would overturn the battle in my favour. I ended up being defeated by my opponent without eliminating one of his/her monsters.
Pirate captain is one of the monsters that disorganises the plan of players in battles because it attacks in the middle or behind in the battle.
This monster is trickish and stylish in nature because you may never know the monster it will attack in battles. It might be the monster that you have hidden in the middle to keep on giving strength to other monsters.

From the level one to the last level of pirate captain, it has only two abilities and the are:-
Snipe ability: ability to attack monsters; mostly magic, range and other monsters.
Inspire: give friendly monsters one melee attack.

Silenced Summoners: Summoners do not give any stat buff/debuffs or grant/use any abilities

click here to watch the battle. I was paired with @robertpogi in this battle. Robertpogi use one of the best summoners in splinterlands but forgot the battle RULESET that said, “summoners do not give any stat…” if not because of this rule, i would have been defeated because yodi zaku is powerful monster i fear in splinterlands, in all my battles against yodin zaku, i lost more than 80% of it. The russet has already deactivated the blasting ability of yodin zaku; therefore its ability was deactivated.

ARRANGEMENT

Sea Monster: I choose this monster because the mana is not much. I choose this monster when the mana is not many because I have used it in several battles: it has a moderate speed of 3 that most times 3 or 4 opponent monsters have attacked before it would, of which has resulted in its defeat. I knew with the range of 25-30 mana; sea monster can still make an impact.
When i saw this monster that attacked first in this battle; i said, ‘this is the perfect battle for sea monster’.
Increase health ability: this was another reason for selecting sea monster, ability to keep on increasing its health in each round. 5 melee was another factor i can not overlook: you could see despite the shield ability of living lava, the sea monster was able to damage the three armor and also three healths in the second round.
To be sincere, in this battle, the speed is also of help to win the battle.

Kelp Initiate: what a monster! No attack but very mighty. The major reason for selecting this monster was the ‘cleans ability’, i was thinking my opponent could use affliction that would stop the monster from increasing it health. I decided to use kelp initiate to cleans anything that stops the monster from gaining its health, reduce the speed, reduce or damage it melee.

Captain ghost: i needed this battle so bad to extend i brought captain ghost. I was planning for total destruction of my opponent. I added the affliction ability to stop monsters that increase health or give health such as crustacean king or divine healer in battle.
The magic attack was also an addition to attacking health directly that could lead to early victory.

Pirate Captain: the monster of the week; if you watch this battle, you will realize that the pirate captain was attacking the second monster in the battle and it does that to the end of the battle. This monster also did incredible work here, it is worthy to be the monster of the week.

crustacean king.png
Crustacean King: the main reason was to keep giving sea monster health so that it would not be eliminated in the battle. And it does that perfectly, contributing to the attacking force and victory.

halfing alchemist.png
Halfling Alchemist: just to make sure the melee, range and magic attack are broken. It was part of my plan to break the weapon of opponent monsters so that such monster attacks would be minimal.

In conclusion, from level 1-10, the major disadvantage of pirate captain is health. Its health is too small and very easy to destroy.
Very suitable to use in the lower mana battle and sweetest when it is max.
