Drama in Neoxian City
Earlier this week there was big changes announced in Steem Basic Income -- their platform was being hit by strong downvotes and that annoyed one or two of our Dragons in the city. A long conversation ensued.
This event sparked up such a large debate that it attracted one of the main developers of SBI into our Discord and many, many questions were fired at him from all different directions. He answered promptly and fully and users were left more than satisfied.
We were trending that day. We had people joining us from all four courners of the Steemisphere just to get a glimpse of what was being said.
Please be aware that we do not endorse, or disavow SBI -- our view on the subject is completely impartial. We do advise thorough research before investing in any projects, though.

Minecraft comes to Neoxian City
In the coming months we will be building a fully functional minecraft server where you can partake in building your very own slice of Neoxian City. The server will have a working economy where you can buy, earn & trade neoxag. The main focus will be on building the economy so watch this space. Elements we plan to impliment (but not limited to) are as follows:
- Build a fully functional minecraft server for Neoxian City and the wider Steem community
- Promote it wildly through various avenues
- There will be an economy -- where users can buy, trade and earn neoxag from
- There will be quests and adventures where you can earn bounty, and trade this for neoxag
- Players can build up their own shops and set their own exchange rates for goods
- Ungriefable plots of land can be bought or rented.
We're only building right now. I also expect it will take a couple of months before it's fully functional. This is a project that we don't want to rush. We won't be officially announcing it until (at least) December
However, if you want to be part of the initial build then come in and have some fun with us builders. Bring along your kid -- the world is your oyster as we set up.

Outstanding Citizen award
Trainee Dragon @raymondspeaks has taken it upon himself to offer his 10% earnings reward at the end of Sunday night, and merge it into an honour which can be bestowed on city dwellers for going above and beyond the call of duty. Make no mistake, this is an award that will be given to people for helping, sharing and giving, rather than taking and selling.
The prize will be no less than 1000 staked neoxag but will grow as he grows in stake power. Outstanding citizen will also get a daily upvote from him for an entire week
This award cannot be earned, it can only be given -- by that it means you can nominate someone, but you cannot vote for yourself. If no Citizens are chosen then the pool will roll over to the following week.
There is no winner this week.
Please be reminded that only exceptional work will stand a chance of winning. For example:
- Working hard outwith your normal earned duties
- Chatting lots
- Buying lots of coins from the market and staking them
- Upholding the city philosophy to a high standard
This is now the seventh week @raymondspeaks has done this, and that has been 6,000 neoxag stake he has given away.
