In this video, I confront two police officers on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico following them busting dozens of people for either sitting on the beach or surfing in the ocean.
The police stand to the side and wait almost an hour for more people to get to the beach. They then walk down the beach kicking everyone off and threatening them with tickets. They've been going after vendors who cannot even feed their families.
We were not having it.
They went up to a group of surfers who just got out of their house for the first time in months when the police demanded they get out of the ocean.
They called for backup and threatened fines.
We approached them and asked them if the virus was in the ocean. One officer replied "it is everywhere."
As everything opens up there is no law against being on the beach. These police are just abusing power as police do. They could have just kept walking and reported no issues, but instead they are walking around abusing people, including kids.

A police officer has just been set on fire here in Mexico. This is just a delicate start. They should actually know that their days are numbered if they keep up this kind of aggression. What they are doing is suicide.
I have to admit that I don't dare go to the beach here in Acapulco right now, not because of the virus, but precisely because of such stupid ass order followers.
If all businesses would just get one of their bouncer or military friends to stand at their front door all on the same day, the tyrants wouldn't dare drive down that street again. Reminds me of cheran michoacan. Until people come together, this shit will get worse and worse. Stand UP locals, seriously! wtf

NEVER answer any questions from a perceived "authority" though.
if they ask: "what are you doing here?"
you repeat it: "what are you doing here?"
where is your mask?
where is YOUR mask?
there are limits to this of course, and how aggressive the cop is feeling, but the fact remains that when you "answer to" a perceived authority, you have just submitted yourself to said authority. so if you can, never answer a single question they ask you. just throw it right back at them.
they could have perceived your intention to confront them though as an aggression and could have used that against you, violently, so just be careful man and keep that camera visible so they know they are being filmed. good that you had a bro there with ya too.
keep it goin Josh, this world needs more real men like you. we all need to stand strong and stand together.
