It still boggles the mind that so many people are unaware of, or unwilling to try, alternative platforms. Maybe they stay because that's where their friends are but at this point, with increasing censorship on a wide variety of topics, it seems absurd that we should stay on these platforms. Monopolies is right, they have too much power and influence and we need to take our power back by not giving them our attention.
Some people are just too scared to give trial to other great opportuned platform because they were somehow frustrated which had given them low esteem to reason beyond their boundaries. I was with a conversations with the top Investor there on Twitter and saw my messages but he eventually replied and he was Official when he said. He was not interested in giving more options on investing outside his own businesses. Although I haven't given up on him though.
First they came for the flat-earthers, and I said nothing, because I am not a flat-earther...

Wow, yeah I noticed some conversations about how #bitchute videos were being blocked and taken down on Twitter. I just read another tweet by @threespeak being shadowbanned and censored as well. It seems quite clear that ThemTube/Google and the other major Tech companies are tightening their stranglehold on information and are acting more like publishers than open platforms.
I never seen this, otherwise would have talked about it. Saw the bitshute thing - next video after my day off going be on this. Another example of how it goes from one extreme to another. Day by day. Week by week.
Please be aware that Bitchute is just another private company, like YouTube, on a regular website, like YouTube. Decentralized blockchain video platforms do exist, like LBRY. Bitchute has been shadowbanning my cannabis-cures-cancer content for a full year now. Many videos there are removed or disappear or glitch out if they cover certain topics or show certain material. Censorship is happening on Bitchute, Bigtime. It's just a newer YouTube.
It seems that this sort of censorship comes in waves, as far as I can tell. They often censor a lot of accounts at the same time and then following the backlash they reinstate some but not all. These shifts are incremental by design and overtime they will succeed in purging undesirable accounts and information from their platforms. It also works as soft censorship as users that depend on these platforms to reach their audiences begin to self censor on certain topics - crypto, alternative platforms, alternative media, 'dangerous conspiracies', etc. I've noticed some YouTubers openly admit that there are words and topics that they now avoid as not to be censored.

By the way, Bitchute also censors and shadowbans, so if you go from YouTube to there, you are jumping from the frying pan into the fire. LBRY is censorship-resistant and decentralized, perhaps better than Bitchute in that regard.
But I'm finding LBRY has terrible playback...when a video keeps buffering people just won't watch it and that's a big problem for me
Really? I saw recently you had 1M+ LBC staked on your latest upload. Even with all that (which supposedly ups your video visibility and gets more people to download/watch it) your viewers are having issues? Your video played well for me, but okay.
Either way, hopefully you and others continue to post to LBRY. I don't think it takes much time/effort to cross post. I've noticed that LBRY's team seems serious about continuing to improve their platform, while some platforms appear uncaring or even absent altogether. It's decentralized, you own your content, and it's very hard to censor. Hopefully that matters to enough of us that the platform continues to grow, and improve. They have a 3 year track record of slowly increasing functionality, without any major issues or scandals or setbacks.
The picture in your post suggests they aren't banned but providing a warning for you to click on the link. exactly the same as peakd does when you click a link that takes you offsite. The name of the game is retention. It's in your best interest to try and retain users by warning them they are leaving the site.
