You could be one of the 7 lucky people who wins hand-made moneyart! Throughout the museum, there are 7 different hand-painted moneyart bills hidden in various locations. These are real $1 USD!!!!! When you find one of these, you click on it and a Survey Monkey will open. Then you’ll tell me why you want to win that particular piece of moneyart. The best answer for each piece of moneyart will win one. This will last 24 hours, with the winning answers announced on Twitter on March 7 at 12 noonish.
Each moneyart bill is a real physical hand-painted $1 bill and each winner also gets an NFT.
Those with the best answers will get their moneyart mailed to their physical address. All the instructions for the winners is contained in an unlocked file that comes with the NFT.

Ok, now on to more serious matters...........
I want to tell you the reason I decided to have this art show.
There are two reasons really. A lot of us who were financially destroyed in the 2008 recession are the silent casualties of Wall Street greed.
Our stories never made it into the news.
Some people are just shells of their former selves after having lost everything in 2008. I fared better than most, as I had parents who literally saved me from homelessness. But I, like many others did lose everything and lived in abject poverty for years during the recession.
I will never forget this.
I still carry the fear of losing everything in my heart. For years afterwards I was afraid to buy a stick of deoderant or a tube of toothpaste. I was afraid to spend even one dollar. That’s what living on $10,000 per year for two people does to your mind. It warps you. It makes you wake up in a cold sweat most days. I didn’t grow up poor so I had no idea how to navigate poverty.
When the recession hit, I had a decent job with benefits. All that vaporized in the recession due to the greed and recklessness of the money people who gambled our lives away without a bit of remorse. And did any of them pay or get punished for ruining countless lives? No, they got bailouts and big payouts. None of them ever suffered one single fucking day. It’s enough to make one’s blood boil.
My latest artwork, Meta Poor, is my story of what happened to me during the recession. It’s available for bidding until March 7. Take a look. What do you see written in the sky?
It’s safe to say that if Bitcoin had not been invented, I would have been ruined again with the pandemic. Bitcoin and crypto more broadly are the tools we need to survive. I’m living proof. But first you have to believe that it is possible to create a different world.
It wasn’t until I discovered Space Peanut's story on the Wallstreetbets Reddit group, that I really decided to double down and commit myself to creating the F*ck Wall Street Cryptoart Exhibition. Space peanut’s story is heartbreaking.

And this was the exact time that Bitcoin was invented. It is all connected. All of us who lost everything are inextricably entwined with Satoshi Nakamoto, and it is as if he/they/she spoke for all of us who lost everything, we the people who were too broken to do anything about it.
