Here is my first tokenized artwork on the Hive blockchain, available at @nftshowroom. It is just beyond awesome that that there is now the ability to tokenize artworks on Hive. I have been selling some on makersplace but with the ridiculous gas prices on Ethereum, this is much welcome development.
If you have never heard of NFT(non fungible token) or tokenized art, it basically means that you can own a digitally signed, limited edition artworks on the blockchain. Once you own a piece, nobody else can have that same one, unless you sell it or transfer the ownership of that particular edition.
I've been waiting on this to happen since i made my first tokenized artwork on ascribe.io in 2018. This piece is a spiritual successor to that first drawing that was also made with windows paint. It is a limited edition of one and you can purchase it from the link below:

what can i do with the picture if i buy it? Can i do everything with it ? (Post it on my webpage etc?)
That is a good question,
NFT showroom has the option to sell all the rights with the work, but this one is for private use only.
It is same as when you would buy a physical picture, you can display it on your website but you can't use it commercially, make prints or anything like that.

Interesting idea! For example one could delegate a certain part of the sales-price and when the delegation is withdrawn, the artwork goes back to the artist.
Oh yeah, kind of like art rental with voting power. You could "pledge" the whole amount that gets payed to the artist in segments as powerdown happens, but you could also cancel at any time and it returns to the artist. i suppose there would be other use cases as well
