OCD's support is expanding!
Hello everyone! This is the 291st compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.
This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.
How this Works
OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.
This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

So I have had a HUGE first week back at work after 3 months of lockdown here and that was 7 days straight, with 2 days off and on the 2nd day, I had a new kind of walk, as this walk was with a completely new camera that I bought for myself for my birthday! (I LOVE AfterPay!) And I have not used a proper camera since the 1980's- it's been an old automatic 35mm Kodak, then only phones since then, so it was really weird to hold and shoot with this camera and not give it back to my mate Sabrina afterwards because she has been a professional photographer for 25+years...https://www.sabrinarubini.com/

Today I woke up with some news, I was given the choice of whether I wanted to do my shift or not since they just hired several workers including guards due to several failures in the plant and from now on I would not have to go to work every day. I took the afternoon to walk to the park, watch TV and eat pizza in the evening. After leaving the pizzeria I headed to the bus stop, I spent 30 minutes waiting for one trying not to lose hope that one would arrive but the wait was in vain, I chose to walk about 4km instead of waiting for a bus, I was running late. Despite being a security guard, darkness is not my best friend, where I live is a somewhat wooded area and the houses of the neighbors are distanced by about 200 meters each due to the relief of the place and it has always given me a bad feeling to walk at night in rural areas, anything can be watching me in the distance, hidden in a tree or on top of a mountain.

There are a lot of interesting animals out there, but by far one of the cutest ones are the ground squirrels that live here in Lower Austria and Burgenland. During the last Years I visited them several times and also found them on different places here in Austria. I am always very happy when I meet them. They usually live from grass and seeds they find in their habitat, and during the day they are outside their holes they build in the soil. Because they are pretty used to humans it is easy to get very close to them.

Today I want to share with you perhaps my all time favorite spot on my hiking trail here on the south Cape coast of Africa, in the region called The Garden Route. It’s a rock pool in a stream that collects rainwater as it runs down the cliffs. Because it’s not quite down at the shore yet, and still up on the cliff top, it provides a spectacular view, with the Indian Ocean just down below. It has become my own little golden pond.

This morning i didn't have any bread left (as i pigged out and ate a whole approx 800g loaf of homemade sour-dough buckwheat turmeric bread over the last two days!) so i decided to make some sprouted lentil burgers to eat with my usual morning (turmeric, cardamon and ginger) coffee.

It's so sad to think about what's happening in today's world. It's like someone who was in love and being left behind. It keeps on breaking the heart knowing there's nothing that can be done about some of it. The powerful who are in a position keep fooling the people these days by threatening each and everyone's life. Even going to the next region requires papers as if living today is not totally free.
