OCD's support is expanding!
Hello everyone! This is the 920th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.
This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.
How this Works
OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.
This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Even though I usually avoid touristy bars, I enjoyed the 1st Slovak Pub in Bratislava. The pub is a part of the Kláštorní pivovar chain, which runs several other venues and brews two beers, Kláštorní ležiak 11° and Kláštorní ležiak tmavý 11°. Pilsen style lager and dark bohemian lager respectively. For those who don’t have Slavic background, “Klášterní pivovar” means monastery brewery, sort of a common thing in this part of the world. Many monasteries used to run a brewery in its manors. No wonder that the traditional greeting of Czech (and Slovak) brewmasters is “Dej Bůh štěstí” (see the coaster below), that literary means May God give you luck. But let’s get back to beer, shall we?

The theme of the current FOOD PORN Photograhy Contest is "EINTOPF" (Stew) and I think there is nothing easier to cook than stews. Strictly speaking, you can put everything in such a pot, which also only somehow fits together. It reminds me that once upon a time, in the days when the hearth fire burned day and night in a house, there was a pot hanging over the fire into which something else was always added.

Last week I went up to Big Bear Lake to spend the day, as my son wanted to go snowboarding. The season has already started and I'm happy to see him enjoying snow sports. In the end of the day, I took my drone for a quick flight. I didn't like these photos so much. We didn't have much time, and I don't know the area so well to choose a good spot for take off. The lake is huge, it's about 7 miles east to west, and between 0.5 - 2.5 miles wide, so I'm pretty sure there are other spots to get better angles from the lake. In these pictures you can see a good part of the east side of the lake, the marina, and in the last couple of pictures you can see Snow Summit Ski Resort in the background. This is my entry to the Show Us Your California contest organized by @/thesocalhive.

As a sickle cell patient, I know that relapses are part of my life. They come on, on many occasions, suddenly. At the beginning of last week, I had been feeling extreme fatigue and I chalked it up to my period, but for some reason - I hadn't been in severe pain for months - I didn't stop doing things until Wednesday or Thursday. It was so much discomfort that, yes or yes, I would spend most of the day sleeping. I drank my juices and even a little soup, but it was not enough.

When my grandfather left us ten years ago, it was so heartbreaking, and I felt depressed for a while. When my sister was gone, I admit that I felt hopeless. And now, I am moving on with a fear of loss, and I think of not living that long.

Through the window to the right, you can see the outside garden and koi pond which is lit for effect. To the left, you'll see the two beautiful ficus trees that have grown into each other and inside the house! They've actually had to make a few modifications to the walls, windows and ceiling to make space for the trees!

I have always said that I love Christmas, and this taste stayed with me because I remember when I was little and lived with my parents, they made a celebration where we met with my uncles and grandparents to celebrate those days, it was a time that marked me with customs that are passed from generation to generation, I remember when I was little mom and dad made the sacrifice of coming to buy the premieres, which was a new clothes with which we dressed on December 24 and 31, I thank God for what I lived because my parents taught me many things, one of the most important is that we have a treasure that we must always cherish, which is the family that we must keep together, I also thank God and my parents for doing everything possible to keep that as a priority as well as education and values such as respect, solidarity, helping others while we can, responsibility and above all love.
