I know some trainers who train the athletes of the Russian Olympic team. These people have the information first hand. This information is not news. But it doesn't matter. The worst has already happened. Thank you for the comment. I guess I wrote the previous comment in a rude manner, sorry if so.

I love Russians more than any europ counrty. They love to stand out . they make me remember that America has a rival . no Russia no Game
Doping is a very debatable topic. It has been totally politicised. Every year new studies come up with new conclusions. They conveniently put a ban on supplements and enhancers that were previously in use and not banned. And then they take the medals of past years away. What happened in the George Benson vs Carl Lewis case was highly questionable. For me the winner is still George Benson. Carl Lewis was very unethical and incorrect in accepting George Benson's medal . Carl Lewis lost my respect. A similar thing is happening with the Russian athletes. Very unfortunate . It is dirty politics and unfair. This whole dope testing thing has a lot of dirty politics involved. Very unfair and unfortunate for the athletes. You cannot mix politics and sports. But I guess, for politicians, Sports is just another battleground for power-play !!

It is to crazy for words, yes all athletes should be tested, no doping allowed, but excluding a whole team? That is telling the world something else than sport talk. Iwould be so angry as a Russian that for sure. And i do not even like sport. Everything considering sport is paid much to high and not in a fair way. But never i would like a team being excluded. It is asking for problems i guess.
I'm not a great sports fan, but I know some coaches. They trained athletes who took part in the Olympic Games from 1993 to 2000. They say that if the athlete prepares for the Olympics a few years, and before the Games he was forbidden to take part in Games, then the athlete breaks the psyche. There were times that the athletes were going crazy. I am very sorry for the clean athletes, not taking doping. It's a pity because our politicians can ban athletes to participate in the Games under the flag of the International Olympic Committee. It would be a tragedy for many athletes.

I support Russian athletes, and everyone who supports a dirty policy will sooner or later pay. The Olympic Games are just a show off of best of the best stealth dopers were got to push the industries. They should stay fair. All big countries got doping laboratories . . It is not right to ban athletes, who trained for years just for this moment. I really feel sorri for the russian athletes. Politics should be separated from sports. They should allow doping. May we see the 100m in 5 seconds lol . . or 3

Thank you for this post! This is a scandal! What does politics have to do with sport athletes? They train their whole life to give the best they can in the games. You can't deny, that this is just a racist campaign against Russia!
