The Neighbor Across the Street (Part 1 of 6)

She stared through the window at him, the neighbor across the street. It had been so long since Jared had left without a farewell. Evelynn waited patiently for him to video chat, anxiously awaited his letters, and ached for his embrace. She sat for many months crying and slowly the tears dried up. She was not a woman to sit on the bottom for long. She had needs and desires damn it. She wanted another taste of passion. To be devoured and to be encapsulated by ecstasy.

"Bruce," she said to herself confidently, "yes, that's his name. I wonder if he ever goes out... He is so handsome. Maybe I can chat with him over coffee sometime?"

Bruce was a widower, his wife and child passed eight years ago during childbirth. She could tell that he needed someone to talk to as his vacant expression eluded to what appeared to be loneliness. Evelynn too was feeling very alone and vulnerable. She sought a tender, strong man to soothe her inner isolation. A safe harbor, a friend, for the foundering vessel she had become. Seeking shelter in the storm of her imagination. The typhoon of seduction swirled deep within her fueling her want for him.

"Oh good the mail carrier," she said to herself smugly. "What a great opportunity for me to say 'Hello' to Bruce," she thought to herself.

She really did want to have coffee and listen. Bruce's chiseled features ignited an inferno of lust, albeit, greed for his flesh. She had been teased so many times before glancing out the window to see him pushing the mower and his biceps glistened in the sun. She burned for him to take her. The rush as she coyly resisted the feast of flesh he was about to consume. She could feel the warmth of her body as her want for his caress reached a fever pitch.

Her heart pounded as she reached for the door. Today was the day she was going to invite him for coffee. She unbuttoned an additional button and readied herself for the hunt. Her make-up was flawless. Her outfit was on point. She snapped a few images for Instaglam. Her followers would go nuts over the skimpiness of her top and her jeans that looked like they were painted into place.
She was bringing her A+ game.

She wanted him to know she was available for him anytime to talk. She reached the mailbox. As she grabbed for the mail inside she peered across the road. Bruce was now trimming the thick branches of the shrub in the front yard. Evelynn made her way to the other side of the street. She noticed a branch had fallen precariously close to the curb. She turned away from him and gripped the branch daintily and giggling, "Oops, looks like one tried to get away." She knew he could clearly see the seams about to burst exposing her posterior to the world. She kept the evil grin to herself, but she knew what she was doing to him.
