My Father the Artist part II

in #ntopaz5 years ago (edited)

ntopaz-image-0I introduced my father already in this post

Now i wanna show some of his latter paintings, where he started to experiment with oil and acrylic paint on canvas, abstraction and color theory. It is very interesting how his former naturalistic work transformed into a very personal expression and style.

@mitchtokita these are amazing. To even think he's self taught.

Thanks! He always had role models and masters he learnt from, but especially in that field it is not necessary to run through schooling i think - depends on the personality ...

Always love to se specific and unique style throughout portfolio.

Thanks! I will let him know!

Pictures are great! I love this bright color!

Thanks! He made his own theory about color contrasts - it's a science in itself...

These are very nice. Definitely a style. It is mind boggling to me how an artist can do this. I have trouble just writing words.

I like the work of your father. I love the power of colors in his pictures.

Thanks! He made his own theory about color contrasts - it's a science in itself...

Wow. Stunning work! Some of the brighter pieces are particularly appealing.

Thanks, i will let him know - the mood of the pictures can be very different - according to his own condition - real artist ;)

Your father has got some awesome works of art and I especially love the bright colors he uses. I also like I he combines them as well 👌😁
