From grayscale to color

ntopaz-image-0 ntopaz-image-1 This "modern still life" you see here was one of my most important practices and an importan subject for many digital artists. Since working with values and tones is a really difficult thing, this added to color makes it even more difficult.

Working with the principal tones and values first and then addidng the color to continues working values and tones from there is a really good way to make the work easier. but is also very important to know how to use these tools and how far use them.
Do not knowing this, would end in an artwork with no art sense and with a poor color palete.

Oh yes, values! I think they are important to get right, because then you can just colour on top of it with good tonality and hues :) Nice modern still life, @pravusdie ! :D
