Extreme Macro - An insects view

I've been going through old shots, and found these old extreme macro shots. I call it extreme shots due to the setup I was using. These shots were taken long before I got a dedicated macro lens, however, I still love the results I got and still use this setup from time to time.
So, to get the majority of these shots, I was using some lens extension tubes, as well as a lens reversal kit with a Canon 40mm Prime lens, and to be honest this is a great lens for very close up macro shots.

As you can see from the images, there's hardly any centre of focus on the shots, but when you do nail that shot, this is very very rewarding.

The shots were done on a Canon EOS 60D and a Canon EOS M3 camera, on some of the shots I did have to use higher ISO than I would normally use, but I still like these shots. Especially the eyes on the brown ant.

I love the above image, an ant actually moving an aphid, ants tend to look after these creatures.
