It is my cold coffee with a metallic straw! I have stopped using plastic straws, this means that all this plastic that I am not longer using will stop ending in the environment

Kudos to your decision to not using plastic straws. Change happens at the individual level. It is always wise to do it on your own rather than waiting for things to happen.
