I met a young man in my line of work last month. He is on his early 30s, married with a kid. Finally I got the opportunity to see him. We talked many times on the phone prior. For his line of work, he is a DJ. Now he is doing something else cause of the situation. He is a funny guy. He joked all the time with me. He gave me a story about a bull dog he had. Sometimes when he is walking the dog, people usually ask who walking who. He had to give away the dog due to where he lives now. Sum up everything he is living a stressful life.

Trying to balance family, work and everything is putting a lot of pressure on him. I think his health is touching through that as well. Gladly he knows what to do and he is working to remedy the situation. Stress is touching all people and wherever you live, you and people you know are facing the threat of stress.
Fortunately stress will always be part of our lives going forward.
Not much you can do to get rid of stress completely.

A doctor named Hans Selye stated "Since stress is a nonspecific response of the body to any demand, everyday is always under some degree of stress". Another way stress is inevitable.
First time I was driving on a highway (I-95) I was stressing so much I could not look in the mirror, I asked for help. It was funny and scary for me. Now still stress but control I can drive easily from FL to IL. It is almost a day driving and I have no problem doing it.

TYPE OF STRESS

Looking at chronic stress and acute stress you may think your friend may not need help. This is the kind of behavior we can help to avoid. Acute stress is incidental on a situation that happen at the moment and you are stressing to resolve. Acute stress may last a day or two. Life continues.
Chronic stress is constant and this stress is rubbing you the wrong way for a long period of time. This king of stress always acts in a way where you may never think you will find the solution for your problem.
This is a dangerous moment and it is hard to get rid of.
Some sufferers gets used to it when the situation that causes the stress is in front of them all the time.
Generally it could be a surrounding problem or related to family issues.

Traumatic stress is the impact of something that can change the life of the sufferer forever. Many situations may relate to this stress and it will cause a trauma for life.
Uncontrolled this stress can developed to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
It is hard to keep reminding yourself of the worst moment in your life.
This is difficult to bear with.

COPING WITH STRESS?

It makes zero sense to tell a loved one do not stress. If you do not know the situation
it is recommended to listen. Offer support and help them find solution.
First of all stress is part of life. Some deal with it inside, some deal with it outside. Some people just shut down when they are stressed.
Best case of action, help them manage it.

What you eat can play a big role to control your stress. Your body needs the right food to channel
and help with stressful moment. Doing exercise will brighten your day. When I say exercise, it includes walking, doing something to get your mind of the moment.
Sleep is where a lot of stressful moment dissipate.
If possible make sure you get some nap during the day.

Now this part is a pillar to control stress. It may look insignificant
but stay organized will boost your grey matter to stay busy.
Staying organized by having a set schedule to do its choir.
By doing it helps to appreciate what you can accomplish daily.
These words always touched me dearly.
" A true companion is loving all the time, and is a brother(sister) that is born
for when there is distress"
Truly you need to have a support. Someone you can drop your heart to.
I am thinking about talking to the Almighty in a prayer.
This should be number one. Always pray
But on earth you need to have a solid friend.

Another way to tackle stress, be reasonable with yourself.
Do not try to be superman and then when results are short
you are stressing. Take on the projects you can carry.
Make time to relax. Most of us are home now.
Good time to read a book. Watch a series you like.
Call people. Find a game to play.

Actually I can continue to find ways to combat stress.
It is important to have good support systems.
You need to be willing to make changes.
Of course, everyone will battle with stress sometimes in your life.
Dealing with stress is to know stress will always be around.
Stay focus!
