More moose set loose

in #onchainart3 years ago

Hey all! In this post I'd like to share a couple moose in the hollow I carved last summer.
When I carve one piece that's popular on social media, I usually get a handful of orders to carve more of the same.
This piece is a good example.

Carved from a white pine cookie cut off.
These are definitely my most popular designs.

Here is that piece in raw form, before the airbrush finish.

And after finish.

Another one I carved for a different customer with a slight design change, body position. Since I'm good at the whimsical sculptures, that's what I mostly carve. I do have an order for a realistic moose on all fours coming up this spring and I will be happy to share.

Heres the other one.

You can see he is sitting sideways in this one.
