Floyd has more than a decade-old criminal history at the time of the arrest and went to jail at least 5 times.

Anyone convicted of that should be put down at that stage or given an extremely long sentence.
There is literally no defence for that. Ruining someone's life. Taking all their stuff and making them fearful for life. Serving time does not undo the harm caused.
I personally know people who have had most of their valuables taken while at a funeral and their confidence has never been the same. They are afraid of leaving the house.

A good place to start is obey the law (all of it), get a job, education and if you have a family take responsibility for them too.
Don't get me wrong there are millions of admirable blacks in America but there are too many who choose to play a victim card for something that happened to somebody else many years ago.
Police shouldn't use lethal force unless absolutely necessary. And if they use lethal or non lethal force use your firearm for fuck's sake. Police should be trained on how to shoot to injure not kill or use a tazar instead of a gun.
The method of killing of George Flyod was unnecessary. I don't know if I believe they should be done for murder because if they shot him when he initially struggled they certainly wouldn't be done for murder. I don't think they can be police officers again but arresting a career criminal for effectively stealing from a store and the criminal dying isn't a tragedy.
There are racists in every race and these people should be found out and removed from any position of power or care of others. There are very few people who would disagree with that sentiment, black, white, brown, asian, native. No matter who you are if you aren't a cunt you don't want racists in charge or control of anything.
Moral of the story: Don't be a cunt your whole life and you probably won't be killed by police.
