I’ve been long away from steem as I was busy but I recently have seen many posts related to hive and steem.
I am not understanding what is hive and why it matters for us steemians.
Will it take over steem?
If so what about the steem blockchain?
I would be appreciated if someone can answer these questions.
Hive is a fork of STEEM that will run completely seperate from the STEEM blockchain. This fork took place because Ned sold STEEMIT and the Steemit Inc stake to Justin Sun and a conflict broke out shortly after thus prompting HIVE to be created.
Steem will continue with some of the witnesses leaving for HIVE and some staying on both chains.
