Yeah the big plus from FB is you can decide posts to be private or public and who is your friend or not so it is not better it would have if they had a FB like function they do not. If you are placing a picture only they wine and can get flagged. The never ending line of what is that person doing who is that person it isn't easy with steemit almost impossible. So is steemit a FB clone? No a big no. D.tube did a better job by making a YouTube clone then steemit.
Steemit is not as holy if you think of it and it takes on another target every other month.
If you mine steem by posting and earning you are punished because you are only for earning well I mined coins and the purpose of mining coins is to spend them one time. What other purpose is there of min i ng sitting on it?
When you go to your bank and set money away on a savings account every month you want to buy a new washing machine a house or go on vacation with it one time. Too much winers on steem. You can't do this and can't do that. The top 20 witnesses rules the whole chain inclusive all the games that are created. They just buy into it with steem they get from being witness. They are the top of the piramide.
Steem searches the gold thinks of altcoins of steem not thinking oh yeah people buy that instead of steem.
Now everyone thinks hitting the jackpot button making a steemit clone and a coin.
This isn't a negative post it is realistic reaction. Only top posters get 20 dollar or more the normal posters are on like 5 dollar. So a lot more are gonna leave so the project will die.
Yeah do porn everybody dives on porn not thinking that investing in porn will lose you integrity ok it's a big business but come on that side is full off criminality. It was a dead project so people gonna buy steem and then the porn token? To do what? Hmmm yeah it's the same like if bitconnect is coming back saying well sorry for the billion dollar loss here we are again.
And yeah maybe it will skyrocket but I won't bind my name to it.

I am really annoyed. Wrote a long answer and it is gone.
So in short. I know it is not negative (your answer) it is good to know what is going on.
Most of us don't and @steemitblog did not really lighten up their users. They also tried to distract from what is really going on.
As you know I came back after hf20 and already at that time I knew it was not about fighting spam. This, hf21, is the next step in the strategy. Now the stupid fish are in the pond they are not needed any longer.
As far as I can see there are 2 options:
The witnesses?
Steemit shows an old list and you can not see the rest of them. Those left months ago are still showed. Their place should be taken by the next ones in row.
Who are the witnesses represent?
Perhaps you can answer this question:
If I choose power up 100% instead of 50/50 of my earnings... is my 100% 100% or just 50? And what if I power down? Do I have to give another 50% to?
