I do appreciate the thought, but I did not have to change my user name, I tried to avoid the flag wars like the plague. I did, do, and always will appreciate those that stand on the front lines of any battles.
Stewards of Gondor isn't about flag wars. It is a group of people that a couple years ago were delegated stake by @fulltimegeek based on their content, voting habits and engagement on the blockchain. When fulltimegeek removed his delegations (so that he could have his full vote power to flag abuse) Dave started FriendsofGondor to continue to support the selected "Stewards".
Therefor I nominated you because of your engagement on the blockchain, you are always everywhere commenting, I see you all the time, and of course your incredible support of our little group.
Also, I changed my username because I am divorced 🤓 My last name changed.
I guess I am a bit behind the times, I thought it was from all the crappy meme's and other flag war related things. It seemed most of you were being down voted because of points of views that went against the grain of some users. I know a lot of you did suffer from the down vote wars, and I really wanted to help out with out being to caught up in them.
