So why am I buying an electric car? There are a few reasons. 1. My dad's car is no longer functional, so I'm going to give my car to him. 2. Australia's fuel prices are going up in an insane way. Buying an electric car means I will save on fuel costs and maintenance costs so I could be saving money in the long run.
Unfortunately cars in Australia are not cheap, especially electric cars. In the video I talk about some of the special deals the government is running right now for electric cars, and because of this, I think it is a good time to buy, especially a cheaper electric car, because then you will get the discount to make it even cheaper.
I guess most people in Australia probably haven't heard of the BYD brand, so I spend a lot of time in the video talking about their background, and why I am placing my trust in this brand enough to buy an electric car from them. I also talk about my decision making process behind why I ordered the Extended range rather than the standard range.
