I'm honestly quite shocked what's been going on on Steemit with the whale / ocd flagging war on every kind of bid bot or tribe upvote which is highly inconsistent and simply bullies small / mid-sized accounts making it impossible for them to get anything going unless they are lucky to be inside of the curation circle. (Read @ocd Downvotes Reply and many more of these posts by people that have been targeted)
I won't do anything impulsive just yet shutting down this project paying back all the invested steem to the shareholders, but it might take longer to open up new levels as steem right now fell down on my priority list and I won't be putting nearly as much time into it anymore.
The minimum promised upvote % for each share currently is 1.05% (1000 / 950 Shares). With many inactive shares and shareholders that gave up on the platform or aren't making a post every day, it is currently set at 3.00% making sure all unused upvotes flow back to active shareholders exactly as the model was designed.
Each share represents an equal % of the Powered Up SP in the account. This puts the base value for each share currently at (4751SP/ 950 Shares) = 5.001 STEEM. Curation Reward Dividends were also introduced and they will be paid out every time a new level is about to open up. (See First payouts)

The downvotes are being used on a lot of people who are purely buying votes for profit and I see that as good. They should earn their rewards. We do have to be careful not to drive good people away. I've engaged with a few to try and guide them to a better path.
I 100% agree with using the free downvotes for shit content that gets pushed into trending or pure farming behavior. But to go on a crusade to blindly start downvoting every single bid bot / tribe bot upvote and only 'honest curation' is what it's all about is extremely inconsistent an hypocritical. This would mean they also have to target and kill the Actifit project who trades AFIT tokens for upvotes. Also the idea that upvotes to posts that get more upvotes are worth more is just insane and makes it impossible for anyone outside of the curation circle to get anything going.
I agree with you on that. It's like the whales are trying to turn Steem into a private club, where new users aren't welcomed.
That's not in their interest as falling user numbers will not help the Steem price and a lot of whales paid more for what they have. There are good and bad whales. Work with those who are don't good for the platform.
Hmmm... I hope you continue the program and don't end it just because of some abusing whales. In fact, I'm hoping to get 3 more shares into the program, if you keep it up.
No worries, I do fully intend to keep things running an progressing. The progression pace might slow down a bit the next couple on months but upvotes continue as usual and give quite good returns still.

Like mere dolphin-sized accounts ... As well as the benefit accruing inside certain uhhh ... "circles."
