All tho we call it free flight paragliding...you still have some rules

While we were flying in the air, a fire broke out in the valley.

If you know anything about southern California, you know that these fires are crazy. Last year we had some very scary fires in the state.

What do you do when you are in the air, and you have planes and helicopter swooping down on your air space. Well, the FAR (Federal Aviation Rules) give us some direction. You need to get out of the air. Land until the TFR (Temporary Flight Restriction) is lifted.

On this day, I was worried that we weren't going to get to fly at all after all the noise, but turns out we had a little fun anyway.
