We launched around the same time as normal.
Tony decided to launch after I did and missed the big thermal that took me to 3k.
Once I reached the top of lift, we took off across the valley. I was at about 2800ft above sea level and Tony was only at 1800ft. You really need to be about 2k or higher when you leave Blossom because of the power lines on the other side.
Tony looked like he was going to kick the power lines. It was a nail biter. Fun was had.
