"Where's....." Felt Flap Book Series

in #parenting4 years ago

Bella's on super explorer mode lately. She's just constantly on the go crawling everywhere, touching everything, giving everything a taste test... it's been cute but ain't gonna lie, it's also been exhausting as.f.

Today, to lure her back on the rug/playmate I grabbed these books from the shelf.

These were a baby shower gift that I hesitated letting her play with because she's demolition baby and I thought for sure she'd rip the felt off first go; but desperate times...

Where's ..... Felt Flap Series

These books are part of the Felt Flap Series by multi award winning, independent publisher of children's books, Nosy Crow.

Not only are there quite a few books in the Felt Flap series, there are also heaps of other book series published by Nosy Crow ~ and ya'll know how I love book series!

The books are pretty straightforward.

If your kid is into hide and seek, or peekaboo or just loves the mirror ~ this book is for you.

Each book has a theme.

Where's Mr. Unicorn features mythical creatures.

Where's Mr. Unicorn?

Where's Mr. Dragon?

Here he is!

Where's Mrs. Ladybird features creatures from the garden.

Where's Mrs. Ladybird?

At the end of each book, after the kids have practiced lifting the felt flap and have come to expect to see something behind it, there is a mirror.

If your baby is like mine and loves the mirror, the will love this last page.

And where are you?

There you are!

and of course you give yourself a kiss!

Bella was stuck on the last page for a while (thank you lord!). She was quite happy to play peekaboo with herself for some time. I actually thought she would end up ripping the felt off but they're all still there which is AMAZING.

Very happy with these books. I need to message my friend and say thanks again for the choice 👌 books. They're her new faves.

The illustrations are cute, the colours are bright, the felt add texture, and sure there's not that many pages but that mirror on the back makes up for it.

Seeing that these are so good I might hunt down a few more book from this publisher. These look good!

Those books are pretty tough. Youngest has flung similar books around by the flaps and they've survived XD

Was a pleasant surprise for sure. I think I might give her the other ones soon :)
